The Crypto-Seal as a Legal Instrument
We propose the concept of the 'crypto-seal' (license loop) — a legally clean tool by which a property or rights holder transfers terms-of-use to a decentralized network without surrendering ownership. We analyze the differences between traditional lease contracts, licensing agreements and the crypto-seal, and show why the latter preserves owner sovereignty while enabling programmable use.
