    Konoplana

A long time ago, with friends — in my head and on paper — we wrote down a dream of a land where hemp is not forbidden, where it is sacred, useful, and respected. Here is the archive: a poem, a draft document, and the story of why this plant deserves to be remembered.

    Legal notice — read first

This page is solely an artistic, cultural and historical project. The "Republic of Konoplana" is NOT and has NEVER been a sovereign state. We do not declare independence, do not issue passports or tax numbers, and do not call for breaking any laws.

All content complies with the Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia, the Criminal Code (KZ-1), and applicable legislation on controlled substances and industrial hemp (EU Regulation 2021/2115). The "Constitution of Konoplana" is a historical draft of a poetic-legal text, comparable to literary manifestos — not a legal act.

The author (@miha) does not promote the production, sale, or use of controlled substances. The page respects, presents and archives industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa L. ≤ 0.3 % THC) as a legal agricultural crop.

    Hemp Toast (Zdravica Konoplana)

Spet konople so rodile, prijatlji cvetove nam sladko, ki nam oživlja žile, ki vtopi vse skerbi, serce razjasni in oko, veselo upanje budi.

Komu pervo konopilco napili bomo krog in krog? Deželo našo živi Bog, konopljanov porodnico, brate vse, sinov konopljanske matere!

Edinost, sreča, sprava, k nam naj nazaj se vernejo! Otrok kar ima Slava, vsi naj si v roke sežejo, de oblast spet in čast, ko ble ste, boste naša last!

Njim velja kupca ta, naj Bog jim dobre sreče dal!

Visoko zdaj prijatli, kozarce zase vzdignimo! Saj smo se vsi pobratli, saj eno misel mislimo; Bog naj te, Bog naj me, naj nas živi tovarše vse! Amen.

    Historical draft document

    "Constitution of Konoplana" — draft

A poetic-legal text from @miha's younger years. Preserved as cultural heritage. It is not and has never been a legal act.

    I. General provisions (summary)

The draft is a dreamlike declaration of a land that respects hemp as a cultural, nutritional and industrial plant — alongside international treaties, human rights protections, and respect for national heritage.

    Symbols (artistic)

    • Coat of arms: orange panther (after a Prešeren motif), with a sprig of hemp between the panthers
    • Flag: white-blue-green (blue for sky, green for plants, white for peace)
    • Anthem: "Zdravica Konoplana"

    Values of the draft

    • Respect for nature and all plants
    • Human rights and dignity
    • Care for cultural heritage
    • International cooperation, not isolationism
    • Peace, unity, reconciliation

The full text of the draft is kept in @miha's personal archive and is not published as a legal document. The summary above is presented for educational and cultural purposes.

    @miha's personal story

    Why Konoplana at all?

Hemp has fed humanity for thousands of years — fibres for canvas and rope, seeds for food, oil for lamps, paper for the first Bibles, hempcrete for houses. In the 20th century the system locked it away — not because it was dangerous, but because it was too cheap and too useful for certain capital interests.

As a young man I felt this as an injustice — to the plant and to people. With friends we imagined a "Republic of Konoplana" — a place in the mind where this plant breathes free again. It was never meant as rebellion against the state. It was meant as a poem and a promise: "when the time comes, we will remember."

The time has come — but not through a parallel state. Through LOVE: a community, a culture, and an honest industrial-hemp economy (CBD, fibres, seeds, hempcrete) within the laws of Slovenia and the EU.

How the soul of Konoplana lives on in LOVE

Three layers — culture, community, economy. Each fully within the law. None requires a parallel state.
